Maruti Suzuki WagonR The Most Awaited Electric Cars In India

Maruti Suzuki WagonR electric is an all-electric version of the Japanese WagonR, which will go on sale in India in 2022. In its regular petrol and hybrid version, it is already being sold in the carmaker’s home market since 2017.

Maruti Suzuki has indicated that the electric version of the WagonR could cost upwards of Rs 9 lakh in India. The new EV’s skeleton is based on the existing WagonR. The carmaker says that these EVs will be tested in various weathers and terrains and the data gathered from this will help the company in studying and successfully launching electric vehicle technology in India.

The WagonR EV is expected to launch soon and can be the advent of the green and electric revolution in the country.
