China Great Wall Motors GWM has officially introduced its new brand dedicated exclusively to new energy vehicles section ORA. Kia Soul Electric Car
The brand-new version of Kia’s compact electric vehicle was launched at the 2018 LA Auto Show. The design of the new car retains the classic boxy styling while updating the front and rear fascia design.
The biggest takeaway is the new-gen Kia Soul EV’s powertrain. The car gets a major upgrade in performance with power & torque output raised to 204PS/400Nm from the earlier 110PS/285Nm. Maruti Suzuki WagonR The Most Awaited Electric Cars In India
Maruti Suzuki WagonR electric is an all-electric version of the Japanese WagonR, which will go on sale in India in 2022. In its regular petrol and hybrid version, it is already being sold in the carmaker’s home market since 2017.
Maruti Suzuki has indicated that the electric version of the WagonR could cost upwards of Rs 9 lakh in India. The new EV’s skeleton is based on the existing WagonR. However, the skin on this eco-friendly sibling is new and futuristic and a first-in-the-segment move, the headlights are placed in the middle of the bumper, with slim glass panels at the top of the bumper.
The car also comes with a set of fog lamps that are packing an air dam from both ends. The air vent is expected to cool down the electric motors.
To stick to its timeline of introducing the EV here by 2020, Maruti has started testing the WagonR-based EV in India. The carmaker says that these EVs will be tested in various weathers and terrains and the data gathered from this will help the company in studying and successfully launching electric vehicle technology in India.
The WagonR EV is expected to launch soon and can be the advent of the green and electric revolution in the country. It is because Maruti Suzuki has a loyal customer base and is the largest car manufacturer in the country. This is one of the most spacious electric cars in India which is loved by Indian families.
