In a significant stride towards a greener future, Kerala-based startup GO EC Autotech Pvt Ltd has announced an ambitious plan to install 1,000 super-fast charging stations for electric vehicles (EVs) across India.
This move comes in addition to the 70 charging stations already operational in Kerala and 33 others spread across the country.
GO EC Autotech is not just focusing on the urban centers but is also extending its reach to Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, and even rural areas. This strategic positioning of charging stations is aimed at encouraging EV adoption among customers residing in remote locations.
The company’s vision is not limited to just setting up charging stations. They have also forged partnerships with restaurants and shopping malls. This initiative ensures that EV owners can conveniently charge their vehicles while they enjoy a meal or shop, making the EV experience more user-friendly.
In just a year, GO EC Autotech has already made its mark in the EV industry by deploying over 103 charging stations across India. This new project is a testament to their commitment to transforming the EV charging experience and accelerating the transition to a more sustainable future.
P G Ramnath, the CEO and Executive Director of GO EC highlighted the company’s mission to provide sustainable charging solutions that empower electric vehicle users. He acknowledged the challenges faced by EV owners due to the lack of sufficient charging infrastructure, especially for long-distance travel.
He emphasized that GO EC, as an environmentally conscious business, is dedicated to addressing this issue by establishing charging stations across the nation.
This initiative by GO EC Autotech is a significant step towards making EVs a viable and convenient option for the masses, thereby contributing to a greener and more sustainable future.
